In the past 27 years, Dr. Tom Starling has led the Middle Tennessee Alzheimer’s Association, a local United Way, a Mental Health America affiliate, a large retirement community, and many state and regional coalitions. Today he is a director for Evergreen Life Services, which serves and champions individuals with intellectual and developmental disorders, including some wounded veterans. Starling has always seen nonprofits as a mission and ministry, where he serves vulnerable populations.
