Hear from Stephanie Ezell-Myatt of Blood Assurance

Stephanie Ezell-Myatt is a Middle Tennessee native who calls Chapel Hill home, surrounded by a close-knit family that includes three children, three grandchildren, three siblings, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles—all within an hour’s drive.

With nearly 24 years of experience in blood banking, Stephanie spent 18 years serving Middle Tennessee before accepting early retirement and began her second career when she relocated in 2020. While she loved being near the beach, she missed being with family and friends in Tennessee.

In November 2024, she accepted a position that would allow her to come home –leaving Charleston to join Blood Assurance where she now serves as Regional Operations Director for the West Division, serving all Middle Tennessee and parts of Southern Kentucky.

Deeply passionate about the mission after seeing loved ones benefit from blood products, Stephanie often paraphrases The Blood Assurance mission statement to simply say: our mission is about providing the right unit of blood for the right person at the right time. She loves educating the community about the need for blood donations and partnering sponsors – which is what brings her to us today!
